Compatibility and Applications

This instrument set from ODG Instruments was inspired by the classic Chevrolet C10, C14, and Veraneio models. It is ideal for replacing original gauges or for use in custom builds. With only two main dials — speedometer and tachometer — it offers all essential information for vintage and specialty vehicles.

Main Features

114 mm (4 1/2”) Gauge Cutout

Both gauges follow the 114 mm standard, compatible with the original Chevrolet dashboard openings of the era, allowing installation without modifications.

Customizable Lighting

The instruments feature translucent backlighting with 7 selectable colors and a DIMMER function for brightness adjustment.
The pointers have independent white illumination.

Electronic Speedometer

Advanced Configuration

• Works with any differential ratio and tire size.

• Fully electronic — no mechanical cable required.

• Receives signal via square-wave speed sensor (not included).

• Compatible with Hall-effect sensors (3-wire) or inductive sensors (2-wire) when using the CSI-1 Signal Conditioner.

Speedometer Functions

• Total odometer with configurable initial mileage.

• Trip odometer with manual reset via keypad.

• Accurate speed indication after calibration.

• Indicator cluster with 3 icons: left turn signal, oil, and battery.

Integrated Fuel Gauge

• Programmable for any tank sender (resistance type).

• Configurable by resistance values or using the “full tank” method.

• Includes 4 pre-programmed sender options.

• Low-fuel warning activated below 1/8 tank.

Multifunction Tachometer

Engine Compatibility

• Compatible with gasoline, ethanol, and diesel engines.

• Works with 4-, 6-, or 8-cylinder engines.

• Accepts ignition signal, programmable EFI output, or “Tach Output” from modules like MSD, Mallory, etc.

• Additional input for diesel engines via alternator “W” terminal.

Indicator Lights and Alerts

• Indicator icons: right turn signal, brake, and high beam.

• Engine temperature gauge (sensor included).

• External air temperature gauge (sensor included).

• Electronic sensor model MTE4053 / ODG 052.0.0.0.2.

• Two-wire configuration for high precision and reliability.

• Reading range: 25°C to 130°C.

• Includes wiring harness and reduction bushing (1/2" to M12).

External Temperature

• Sensor type: NTC 10k @ 25°C.

• Reading range: –9°C to 50°C.

• Sensor included.

Installation Requirements

• Speedometer: requires a square-wave output speed sensor (Hall type) or CSI-1 for inductive sensors.

• Fuel system: supports sender resistances up to 1,000 Ohms.

• ⚠️ The CSI-1 Inductive Sensor Conditioner is not included and must be purchased separately if needed.
